Non-invasive and targeted muscle building and fat elimination! EMSculpt is FDA-cleared to treat upper arms, calves, thighs, buttocks, and abdominals.
Each EMSculpt treatment at our Marin Body Sculpting Suite does more than make you look more toned. You will be stronger, leaner, and enjoy the additional benefits of more muscle: improved balance which helps prevent injury and spine issues, better wound healing, and boosted immunity and organ function. And fat cells will be permanently removed from the treatment area.

Athletes can consider EMSculpt as an enhancement to physical training. It can also help maintain muscle tone while recovering from an injury, and in some cases, aide in rehabilitation.
EMSculpt has also been proven to help in the recovery of diastasis recti, caused when abdominal muscles separate with heavy lifting or during pregnancy.

How does EMSculpt compare to diet and exercise?
One EMSculpt session equals the results of 20,000 sit-ups (abs) or squats (butt lifting). How many sit-ups can you do in one training session?! If you can answer 100, that’s only 100 voluntary contractions and 200 individual trips to the gym vs thousands of supramaximal contractions during one short session with us!
Exercise does very little to reduce fat and you cannot stimulate fat loss in the area of your choice. With targeted treatments, you can specifically focus on a body area of concern and reach your goals faster.
How does EMSculpt work?
EMSculpt builds muscle size and strength by using high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) pulses to trigger muscle contractions far faster than can be done manually. The contractions may not be manually caused, but they are natural, and so the natural process of muscle building occurs, just as if you lifted weights in the gym.
Metabolism of fat cells in the area is simultaneously increased about five-times because of the massive number of calories required to fuel each contraction.
What is the science?
We build muscle by contracting them repeatedly and consistently over time. When we work out, our muscle contractions are voluntary, initiated by signals from our brains. EMSculpt contractions are forced by high-intensity, focused electromagnetic energy.
These strong contractions cause the muscles to adapt and release chemicals locally, a catalyst for a deep remodeling of their structure, leading to firmer, larger muscles and a more toned appearance.
An EMSculpt treatment also releases epinephrine, a naturally occurring chemical that tells fat cells in the area to break down. These fat cells are permanently removed from your body.

Is it safe?
EMSculpt was first FDA-cleared in 2014. No safety issues has been raised in any clinical study.
We offer only tested, safe, and proven technologies, and screen each patient carefully prior to treatment.
It has an average patient satisfaction rate of 96%.
Who can get EMSculpt?
You are a candidate for treatment if you wish to tone your physique and get stronger, or are interested in non-surgical options to liposuction, tummy tucks, or butt implants, and if you are healthy and have a BMI under 25.
Depending upon the desired treatment area, EMSculpt may not be an option for anyone with metal implants, including copper IUDs or pacemakers. EMSculpt may not be performed during pregnancy or within eight months of giving birth.
Do I need to prepare for treatment?
A consultation – always complimentary – is required before you may become an EMSculpt patient. Wearing comfortable, loose clothing to your appointment is recommended.
What happens during treatment?
While safe and not painful, some find the sensation of an EMSculpt treatment odd as muscles act involuntarily and in an un-natural feeling way.
Your practitioner will slowly increase intensity during your appointment, up to a level that is comfortable for you. To limit lactic acid build-up and post-treatment soreness, a resting phase called “tapping” alternates with the treating waves.
Treatments typically last 20-40 minutes, depending upon area to be addressed.
What should I do after EMSculpt
You may immediately return to regular activities. You may feel a muscle ache, similar to a gym work-out the following day.
Ask your practitioner about how Alastin Procedure Enhancement Skincare’s TransFORM Body Treatment with TriHex Technology can amplify your results.
How long until I see results?
Some notice results immediately following treatment, but for most, it takes three months.
How long will results last?
Only continual use maintains muscle mass, so to keep your new muscle, you’ll need to continue a regular EMSculpt treatment and/or practice muscle-building workouts. Without maintenance, results will fade over six to twelve months.
Fat cells destroyed by EMSculpt are permanently removed as your body naturally metabolizes, absorbs and excretes them.
How many treatments will I need?
A typical plan is four treatments two to three days apart. During the initial consultation, we’ll customize a plan for you. Maintenance plans vary, but generally once every few months keeps your results.
